Plot

In the heart of the frost-veiled Antarctic, a pebble festival is the pinnacle of romance, where a suitor must present his beloved with a unique pebble. Amidst this icy ritual, Hubie (Martin Short), a shy penguin, musters courage to win over his love. However, his intentions are thwarted by the nefarious Drake (Tim Curry) who sends him tumbling off the glacial cliffs into the icy embrace of the ocean. Fate leads Hubie to an unlikely ally, the street-smart Rocko (Jim Belushi), a prisoner of the same ship that rescues Hubie from the sea. Rocko dreams of basking under the sun and soaring through the sky despite his earthbound existence. In a daring escape, Hubie convinces Rocko to embark on a journey back to the Antarctic. Upon reaching their icy homeland, they face their deepest fears. With his unique pebble and newfound bravery, Hubie must confront his arch-nemesis, Drake, while Rocko grapples with the stark reality of his lofty dreams. This tale is a heartwarming blend of friendship, courage, and the pursuit of dreams in the face of insurmountable odds.
