Plot

In the haunting depths of Spain, the disfigured remains of a six-year-old girl are discovered in a chilling water hole. This tragic discovery is identified as Angela, the missing daughter of Claudia, a once vibrant editor now shadowed by grief and addiction. The identification is based solely on a hauntingly personal bracelet and a unique physical trait – Angela's right leg is three centimeters longer than her left. Any other means of identification have been gruesomely stripped away. Five years later, Claudia, now a ghost of her former self, divorced and enslaved by tranquilizers, receives a spine-tingling phone call. The voice on the other end claims to be Angela, begging her mother to find her before an ominous 'they' end her life. As cryptic clues begin to materialize, the possibility that Angela is alive, and in grave peril, becomes increasingly palpable. Desperate for answers and driven by a mother's love, Claudia seeks the help of the original detective from Angela's case. Together with a parapsychology reporter, they delve into a spiraling abyss of unspeakable horror. Their investigation unravels the existence of the insidious cult "Los Sin Nombre", a congregation that seeks the quintessence of raw evil. As Claudia, the worn-out ex-cop, and the parapsychology reporter navigate this terrifying labyrinth of clues, they are propelled into a race against time to locate Angela. The Nameless (1999) is a chilling exploration of the lengths a mother will go to save her child, and the darkness that awaits her on that journey.
