Plot

In the shadow of a haunting past, Ed, a young man burdened with guilt, returns to the scene of his childhood trauma. As a small boy, Ed's innocent attempt to surprise his father on his birthday takes a tragic turn when one of the hunting rifles he was cleaning accidentally discharges, dealing his mother a fatal blow. The sight of his wife's lifeless body sends Ed's father, Jack Sr., spiraling into a murderous rage, blaming his own son for the tragedy and attempting to end his life. Ed narrowly escapes his father's vengeful wrath and leaves him to descend into a mournful psychosis, drowning his sorrow in whiskey. Years later, now a teenager, Ed ventures back to his family home, a silent tomb of memories, accompanied by a group of friends seeking a beachside vacation. The house, ominously sitting on the edge of the sea, belongs to Ed's father, who is presumed to have vanished long ago into the abyss of his own madness. However, as the group settles into the chilling silence of the house, it becomes apparent that Jack Sr. is not as absent as they believed. The once-cherished home now holds a menacing secret, as the father's unresolved vengeance patiently waits for the perfect moment to strike, to balance the dreadful score with his son. The unsuspecting teenagers are swept into a sinister game of retribution, as the house's dark past begins to unravel, one horrifying revelation at a time.
