Plot

In the vibrant, exotic landscape of early-1980s Thailand, Ray Jenkins, a humble TV repairman, naively plunges into the perilous world of drug trafficking. Thrust into this treacherous game after an all-expenses-paid trip, Ray becomes an unwitting drug mule, his stomach serving as the unwilling vessel for twenty sachets of potent heroin. Upon his return, the Melbourne Airport authorities catch him in their snare, and he is promptly placed under the relentless scrutiny of Detectives Paris and Croft. Bound by the confines of a nondescript hotel room, Ray is ensnared in a grueling seven-day standoff against time and his own body. A pulsating battle of wills begins to unfurl, with Ray's innocence hanging in the balance. He must harness every ounce of his strength to resist the urge to crack, while the authorities watch, waiting for nature to take its course. In this nerve-racking dance between innocence and guilt, Ray's sphincter-clenching ordeal becomes a ticking time bomb. Will he manage to convince the authorities of his innocence, or will the evidence inside him betray his pleas? Every moment in this gripping saga is a step closer to the explosive truth.
