The Monster (2016)

Kathy's addictive personality — and particularly her alcoholism — has forced her teenage daughter Lizzie to grow up quickly. That maturity becomes a necessity when the two break down in the middle of nowhere. The two have hit a wolf — but when the mechanic arrives to provide repairs, he's attacked by some kind of monster. Now Kathy and Lizzy are alone with this creature and no way to get home. With only the car and the tow truck as shelter, they'll need to be wily if they want to survive. But the night will also force mother and father to come to terms with their issues.

The Monster is a drama movie featuring Zoe Kazan and directed by Bryan Bertino.
