In the gritty heart of Hamburg, Germany, the notorious burglar and adept safe-cracker, Steve Wallace, finds freedom after a two-year stint in prison for a botched burglary. His past life of luxury and impunity, a time when he operated solo, has been replaced with humble living conditions under the stern gaze of Police Inspector Hoffman. Wallace shares this modest abode on the city's fringes with his loyal girlfriend, Anna, who yearns for him to abandon his life of crime.
Haunted by the memory of his glory days, Wallace despises their meager existence and yearns for one last grand heist before retirement - a proposal that Anna vehemently opposes. However, Wallace's resolve is unwavering. The perfect opportunity presents itself when the local crime lord, Miller, approaches him with a daring task: to infiltrate a high-security corporate building and relieve an insurance company of one million dollars from its vault, a vault so sophisticated it's triggered by the faintest noise.
Wallace, preferring to work alone, declines Miller's offer but covertly plans to execute the heist himself. In this daring endeavor, he enlists the help of a young circus acrobat, Marco, who he had encountered during a street brawl with Miller's men. And so begins a high-stakes game of cunning, agility, and sheer audacity, as Wallace looks to pull off the master touch heist that could either secure his retirement or cost him everything he holds dear.
