In the rugged high country of Australia, young Jim Craig returns after a season spent in the wild, herding and selling horses to secure his future. His homecoming, however, is far from the sweet reunion he envisioned. The land he loved has transformed, the stakes higher than the majestic mountains that dominate the landscape. His beloved Jessica Harrison is ensnared in a relentless pursuit by a wealthy suitor, her heart held captive in a game of power and affluence.
