The Inglorious Bastards (1978)

Amidst the brutal turmoil of World War II, a motley crew of American soldiers finds themselves en route to a military prison for a spectrum of offenses, from cowardice to murder. Lieutenant Robert Yeager, Private Fred Canfield, the deadly Tony, cunning thief Nick, and the fearful Berle are confined together under the shadow of impending incarceration. Their journey, however, takes a lethal turn when a thunderous German artillery attack decimates their convoy, granting four prisoners the opportunity to escape the claws of captivity.
