Plot
Haunted by the specter of war, the battle-hardened Iraq veteran, Le Saint, swaps the arid dunes of the Middle East for the quiet serenity of a small town. But beneath the town's peaceful facade lurks a chilling secret. Over the past two years, an unnerving string of unexplained disappearances has cast a grim shadow over the seemingly idyllic setting. Eager to unravel this mystery, Le Saint finds himself donning the badge of a police officer.
The hot-tempered police chief, however, hands him a different task - to escort a turncoat ready to spill state secrets. But Le Saint, driven by a relentless pursuit of justice, goes against his chief's orders. He selects a clandestine rendezvous spot, the abandoned Fort Goben, shrouded within the dense woodland.
Unbeknownst to him, this desolate fortress houses a darker secret than he could ever imagine. It's not just a vestige of a bygone era, but a clandestine arena, where a group of ruthless hunters gather. These hunters, however, are not after the common woodland fauna. Le Saint's desire to uncover the truth has unknowingly put him in the crosshairs of a sinister game, where the prey are not beasts, but humans themselves.
The Hunters (2011) is a bone-chilling journey into the heart of darkness, where the hunter can swiftly become the hunted.
