As the Korean War unfurls its brutal tapestry in 1952, a band of American officers set foot on the ancient soils of Kyoto. Among them is the stern Major Ceve Saville, assigned to lead a fighter squadron, and the youthful Lieutenant Carl Abbott, who turns a blind eye to his enchanting wife, Kristina. Back on the stormy battlegrounds of Korea, Saville reunites with his former comrade-in-arms, Colonel Dutch Imil, sparking memories of unified struggles and victories.
