Plot

In the shadowy corners of Spokane, a world-class government assassin named Jonas breaks free of his chains, going rogue on the same fateful day Allen Campbell, a hardworking engineer, suffers a devastating setback. Allen's world crumbles as he loses a coveted promotion and finds his wife in the arms of his best man, driving him to seek solace at the bottom of a bottle. A chance encounter at a dimly lit bar introduces Allen to the enigmatic Jonas. They strike up an unlikely camaraderie, fueled by Allen's resentment and alcohol. Under the influence of his bitter emotions and liquor, Allen unwittingly engages in a deadly game as Jonas invites him to list five people he wishes were dead. The names spill from Allen's lips - his boss, the colleague who stole his promotion, a malicious bookie, his unfaithful wife, and the best man who betrayed him. When the sun rises, Allen wakes up to find that his boss has been brutally murdered - the first name on his list. The horrifying realization dawns upon him that Jonas is not just a harmless stranger but a lethal hitman, and his drunken wish has ignited a terrifying chain of events. As the bodies start to pile up, all evidence points towards Allen, pulling him into a heart-stopping race against time. In a desperate attempt to halt the impending doom awaiting the people he marked for death, Allen finds himself caught in a deadly web of deception and violence. Can he stop Jonas, or will he be too late to save those he unwittingly condemned? The Hit List is a thrilling rollercoaster ride that blurs the line between friend and foe while exploring the dark consequences of revenge and the power of redemption.
