Plot

In the heart of colonial America, an age-old woman perches atop a bell, her world swaying to the rhythm of a rope tugged by a man adorned in blackface, wig, and servant's attire. A door, suspended above, creaks open to reveal an intriguing figure, an elderly man clad as a flamboyant dandy, who gracefully descends the staircase, tipping his hat to the bell-rider with a persistent grin. The world around them whirls in a strange dance as the same door gives way to an array of characters: a ragged man, a law enforcer, and recurrently, the enigmatic dandy, his grin unwavering. A chilling turn of events sees the man in blackface surrender to despair, his life ending in a noose. Yet, the dandy's smile remains unbroken. As the tolling of the bell echoes ominously, a grave seems to call, beckoning to the living. When darkness falls, the dandy takes to the piano, his eerie melody filling the air. The question lingers, could he be the embodiment of Death itself? The Hearts of Age, a film where reality intertwines with the surreal, leaving viewers with a haunting sense of mystery.
