In the politically charged atmosphere of a U.S Senate campaign, Dorothy, an impassioned environmentalist and liberal speechwriter, finds herself jobless after a protest takes an unexpected turn. Left on the sidelines of the political battlefield, Dorothy decides it's time to return to her roots - her staunchly conservative hometown in Texas. Here, she is confronted with a jarring revelation - her childhood tormentor, a die-hard Republican, is vying for a seat in the state legislature. In a town where only a Republican can emerge victorious, Dorothy's only option is to step into the political ring herself. But there's a twist - she must shed her liberal skin and don the cloak of a conservative, running against her old nemesis as a Republican. This audacious move is entirely within the bounds of the constitution, but can Dorothy suppress her true beliefs on the campaign trail? As she navigates this complex political landscape, Dorothy begins to realize that the divide between good and evil isn't as clear-cut as left versus right.
