Plot
In the heartland of Kansas, the Everetts – two tenacious brothers and a loyal cousin – strive to breathe life into their fledgling ranch. Their dreams are shadowed by the malicious Deke Turner, an adversary hell-bent on witnessing their downfall. Amidst this struggle, the younger Everett brother idolizes the infamous Billy the Kid, a fact that soon propels their lives into a whirlwind of chaos.
During a heated altercation with one of Turner's henchmen, the younger Everett brother is forced to kill in self-defense. Turner, seizing the opportunity, spins a deadly web of deceit, painting the young Everett as a ruthless murderer. Urged by his elder brother, the young Everett becomes a fugitive, with the law hot on his heels.
His inevitable capture triggers a daring rescue by his brother and cousin, transforming the Everetts from struggling ranchers into branded outlaws. Unfazed by their outlaw status, they resolve to strike back at Turner, planning a daring heist against him. The Gunfighters (1987) is a thrilling tale of survival, brotherhood, and retribution set against the rugged backdrop of the American frontier.
