In the spectral realm of the recently departed, Hiram Stokley finds out he has a mere 24 hours to orchestrate a benevolent deed, his celestial ticket to eternal peace. To accomplish this post-mortem mission, he summons his long-lost love, Cecily, now a ghost, to aid him in thwarting the sinister plans of his avaricious lawyer, Reginald Ripper, and his malevolent henchman, J. Sinister Hulk. This devious duo is plotting to swindle Hiram's rightful heirs—Chuck, Lili, and Hiram's relatives Myrtle and her son—out of their inheritance. An unexpected twist adds a spark of life to the eerie mansion when the youthful and energetic beach party crowd, friends of Hiram's nephew, descend upon it for a pool party, blissfully unaware of the looming danger. Meanwhile, Reginald Ripper deploys his cunning daughter Sinistra, and J. Sinister Hulk enlists his dim-witted minions, Chicken Feather and Yolanda, in a dastardly plan to intimidate the unsuspecting teens.
