Plot

In the heart of the festive season, door-to-door greeting card salesmen, Stanley and Oliver, find themselves entangled in a story of love and jealousy. Their routine peddling is disrupted when they encounter Mrs. Pierre Gustave, a woman drowning in her own sorrow. Her heart echoes with the painful hum of neglect, convinced that her artist husband, Pierre Gustave, has fallen out of love with her. In an attempt to reignite the flame of affection in her husband's heart, she devises a plan, and our unsuspecting salesmen are roped in. Their mission? To ignite the green-eyed monster of jealousy in Pierre Gustave, using Oliver as the provocateur. The plan, however, spirals into chaos when Gustave arrives home unexpectedly, catching Oliver in a compromising situation with his wife. Challenged to a duel by the enraged Gustave, a whirlwind of hilarious misadventures ensue as the duo scrambles for safety. The night takes a blurry turn as they find solace in a local cafe, downing shots until they pass out. Waking up in the most unexpected place - Mrs. Gustave's bed - the card salesmen are confronted with the furious husband, pistol in hand, ready to defend his honor. "The Fixer Uppers" is a comedic rollercoaster that weaves together intrigue, romance, and slapstick humor, promising a delightful ride from start to finish.
