Haunted by the specter of her parents' tumultuous relationship and her mother's heartbreaking demise, Scarlet's past casts a long shadow over her present, stirring no signs of improvement to the concern of her counselors. Just when hope seems to be fading, the camp welcomes a new arrival, Dylan. An immediate connection sparks between the two girls, offering Scarlet a trusted confidante to share the family secrets that have gnawed at her existence, driving her once to the brink of suicide.
