In the throes of a fading career, once-renowned playwright Russel Brody toils devotedly on a sequel that could potentially reignite his dwindling spotlight. With his marriage on the rocks and a baby on the way, life's stressors take the leading role in his personal drama. But when a tragic accident claims his wife's life, Brody's world crumbles into an abyss of despair. In an effort to salvage his friend's fractured psyche, David Stanley, Brody's writing partner, suggests a reunion with Lucy, Brody's erstwhile lover. However, this ignites a catastrophic chain of events as the vengeful spirit of Brody's deceased wife awakens, fuelled by the bitter revelation of his infidelity. At first, the terrifying manifestations of his wife's ghost seem like figments of Brody's alcohol-addled, grief-stricken mind. However, as her spectral onslaught escalates, his grasp on reality wavers, teetering on the precipice of madness. Her ghostly presence, lurking in every shadow, relentlessly torments him, transforming his existence into an unending nightmare. The haunting reaches a chilling crescendo when the spirit invades the body of his former mistress, forcing Brody into a terrifying confrontation.
