Plot
In the heart of the family drama, "The Dinner," we meet Paul and Claire, a resilient couple standing at the intersection of domestic happiness and its fragility. Paul, a devoted yet unsuccessful history teacher, pours his soul into his family, only to find his happiness hanging by a thread. Claire, his wife, plays the role of his lifeline, willing to cross any boundary to safeguard their family unit.
Across the dinner table are Serge and Babette. Serge, a politician riding high on the waves of power, is on the verge of becoming Prime Minister, while Babette, the silent force by his side, embodies the strength of a lioness.
As they convene for a family dinner, an undercurrent of tension simmers beneath the surface. Unspoken words and unaddressed issues hang heavy in the air, overshadowing the elaborate meal. A significant family crisis looms, threatening to shatter their delicate balance. The Dinner becomes a pressure cooker, pushing each character to the brink. It begs the question: how far are they willing to go for their family and future?
