Plot

In a whirlwind of comedic confusion, Stanlio persuades the unwitting Ollio to impersonate the fearsome singing outlaw, Fra Diavolo. Unbeknownst to them, their thievery antics are attempted on Fra Diavolo himself, resulting in a hilariously botched job. In response, Diavolo commands Stanlio to execute Ollio, yet a blundered attempt grants them a second chance, leading to their unlikely employment as Diavolo's henchmen. Under the flamboyant disguise of the Marquis de San Marco, Diavolo infiltrates the bustling Tavern de Cucu. His dual mission: to liberate the rich, elderly Lord Rocburg from his wealth and to court the captivating Lady Pamela. Amid this, Stanlio's playful antics of "earsie kneesie nosie" and "finger wiggle" wreak havoc, driving Ollio and the innkeeper to the brink of madness. His laughter becomes infectious as he assists Ollio in filling wine tankards, spiraling into a fit of uncontrollable mirth. Stanlio and Ollio concoct a scheme to ensnare Diavolo, but their plan backfires, landing them alongside their boss in front of a formidable firing squad. The Devil's Brother is a rollicking comedy of errors, laced with mischief, laughter, and a dash of danger, where nothing is ever as it seems.
