In the colorful whirl of a Spanish carnival at the dawn of the Twentieth Century, an enigmatic tale of love, obsession, and betrayal unfolds. Amidst the surreal splendor of the festivities, Antonio Galvan, an exiled republican from Paris, arrives to relish the celebration and reconnect with his old friend, Capt. Don Pasqual 'Pasqualito' Costelar. His plans take an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with the tantalizingly elusive Concha Perez, setting up a clandestine rendezvous.
As Antonio becomes entranced by Concha's allure, Pasqualito reveals his own tormented past with the captivating femme fatale.
