Zack Conroy, Seattle's most charming and affluent figure skater, is left partnerless when Celeste Mercier, his graceful counterpart, is sidelined by a devastating training mishap. Amidst the turmoil, their coach Bryan Hemmings and the tenacious Celeste urge Zack to find a substitute partner, keen to secure his chance at the national championship and ultimately, the world stage in Paris. In his quest, Zack's volatile temperament leads him to dismiss all potential partners from the skating circuit. However, a fiery encounter with an amateur ice hockey team flips his world upside down, instigating a newfound interest in their sole female player, Alejandra 'Alex' Delgado - a spirited waitress and the heart of a local taco joint. Hemmings vehemently disapproves of Alex, causing him to sever ties with Zack and seek solace in a newfound relationship with Celeste, while also finding her a new partner. As Zack and Alex grapple with their contrasting backgrounds, they're propelled forward by sheer determination, the unwavering support of Alex's brother, and guidance from an unexpected coach.
