Plot

In the heart of a bustling Mexican resort, near the pulsating energy of a gambling casino, we find the charismatic faux fortune teller, Professor Bird, and his lovable aide, Sparrow. Sparrow finds his heart ensnared by Anita, an enigmatic American damsel who has been raised by gypsies since her tender age of four. However, Anita is also the object of desire for the domineering gypsy leader Julius, who is prepared to claim her, no matter the stakes. Meanwhile, the casino's glamorous attendees include the affluent Miss Furst and her niece Ruth. Ruth harbors a secret love for the dashing aviator Billy, but Miss Furst has matrimonial plans for Ruth and a certain Baron. Unbeknownst to them, the Baron's interest in Ruth is solely tied to her wealth. Intrigued by Bird's supposed abilities, Miss Furst engages him to communicate with her late husband, particularly after Bird assists in recovering her purse, swiped by the scheming Julius. In a twist of fate, the Baron colludes with the gypsies, witnessing Ruth and Billy's secret betrothal. Ruth is spirited away, and Anita, who has been tracking Sparrow, is also whisked back to Mexico. A thrilling chase ensues, with Billy, Bird, and Sparrow venturing into Mexico, each on their determined quest to rescue their beloved damsels. However, their journey is fraught with unexpected encounters, from peculiar hotel guests to vigilant gypsy guards, setting the stage for an adventure riddled with danger, intrigue, and romance.
