The Christmas Toy (1986)

Amid the silence of human absence, the toys in the playroom spring to life, indulging in their own world of play. However, a grave rule reigns over them - if a human discovers a toy out of its place, it will be eternally petrified. It's the eve of Christmas, and Rugby the Tiger, last year's coveted Christmas Toy, is ensnared by a misconception. He naively believes he will be the star of this year's unwrapping ceremony. His predecessor, Apple the Doll, once the cherished favorite, is entrusted with the task of explaining the harsh reality. Yet, Rugby, blinded by his yearning, dismisses her warnings. In his reckless pursuit to reclaim his throne, he inadvertently liberates Meteora, the Queen of the Asteroids. Unaware of her toy status, Meteora believes she's been stranded amidst extraterrestrials. The responsibility now falls upon Apple, Mew - the toy mouse adored by the cat, and their toy comrades to rectify Rugby's misstep. They must stealthily maneuver Rugby out of the Christmas package and confine the bewildered Meteora back within it, before they are discovered and doomed to a lifetime of stillness.
