Plot

Jean-Paul Clément, a businessman in his prime, carrying the weight of his corporate life and a generous expense account, embarks on a week-long business expedition. He finds his temporary abode in the heart of the elegant Dolphine Hotel, where he shares brief, intriguing exchanges with a stylishly beautiful desk clerk. His journey, however, is not just professional but deeply personal as well, underscored by a haunting, solitary voice message stored delicately on his mobile phone. Once in the privacy of his room, Jean-Paul faces the echoes of his past - a lover's voice message breaking up with him, accusing him of lacking spontaneity, and revealing her newfound love. The stinging words provoke him to hurl his phone, only to discover an unexpected mystery when he retrieves it. Underneath the bed, he unveils a provocative Polaroid photograph of a semi-nude woman, paired with an enticing phone number and a tantalizing question of sexual nature. As he gazes at the picture while nursing a cold beer, Jean-Paul wrestles with the decision that could lead him down an unpredictable path. Will he succumb to the temptation and dial the number, or will he retreat, choosing to stay within his comfort zone? 'The Business Trip' is an enticing narrative of business, betrayal, and the tantalizing promise of unknown adventures just a phone call away.
