The Big Year (2011)

Two bird enthusiasts named Brad and Stu set out to view as many species as they can within a single calendar year, which would earn them the title of Birder of the Year. The title currently belongs to a pompous blowhard named Kenny Bostick, whom they're determined to dethrone. The catch? Neither Stu nor Brad knows that the other is pursuing a Big Year, as birders generally keep this information a secret. As they continue to cross paths in pursuit of their goal, the two forge a friendship that will last beyond the final tally.
