In the spectral cadence of fourteen Shakespearean sonnets, an unseen woman narrates the silent quest of a man seeking the object of his deepest affection. Captured in the haunting beauty of stop-motion photography, his journey unfolds amidst landscapes both primal and ethereal - rugged stones, the restless sea, smoke shrouded vistas, and a tranquil garden. The man embarks on an odyssey in pursuit of love, but he must first grapple with his own conscience, as the sonnets prophesy. To be worthy of his heart's desire, he must undergo a process of self-purification. He performs this ritual by bathing a tattooed figure, a possible angelic entity, and demonstrating humility before this celestial being. His preparations are further marked by water, introspective journeys, and contemplative meditations. After this spiritual cleansing, the man finally unites with the cherished companion of his dreams.
