Plot
In the shadows of the imposing Tetsuo legacy, two decades after the original flesh/metal metamorphosis and seventeen years succeeding Taniguchi Tomoo's awe-inspiring transformation, emerges another character, Anthony, an American-Japanese white-collar worker. Straddling two cultures, Anthony's life is steeped in normalcy until it is violently upended by a tragic turn of events. A hit and run accident claims the life of his only son, Tom, catapulting Anthony into a vortex of grief and rage.
In the chaos of his emotions, a mysterious driver from the hit and run resurfaces, fueling Anthony's anger and triggering a remarkable metamorphosis in him. Unable to reconcile with his loss, Anthony surrenders to the transformative power of his anguish. His body becomes the canvas for a breathtaking bio-mechanic transmutation, as his malleable flesh transcends into a higher existence. The ordinary man morphs into an extraordinary entity, his body sprouting cold metal protrusions, and sophisticated weaponry, his transformation crowned by the creation of Machine-Anthony.
With his body now an impregnable fortress of metal, Anthony becomes the Bullet Man - an indestructible human weapon, powered by an uncontrollable rage. He is invincible, a formidable force. The question that hangs in the air, thick with anticipation: Who dares to confront the omnipotent Bullet Man? The answer promises a tale of suspense, struggle, and unfathomable transformations, making Tetsuo: The Bullet Man a riveting watch.
