In a dystopian future reminiscent of "Mad Max," a thrilling international sport has emerged, combining high-speed driving with advanced technology. Competitors must navigate computerized trucks across a sprawling wasteland, aiming for a designated terminus while evading hostile vehicles. A young prodigy engineers the leading truck, dubbed "Monster," to be piloted by a fearless woman. However, when the truck's cutting-edge guidance system malfunctions, she's thrown off course, veering into unknown territories teeming with menacing, leather-bound marauders. In this uncivilized world, she falls victim to brutal torture and meets a tragic end. But not before confiding in a fellow captive about the existence of the Monster truck. The captive, seizing the chance for freedom, commandeers the vehicle and embarks on a hair-raising journey. The remainder of the narrative unfurls his tense relationship, akin to that of "2001"--Hal, with the truck's AI and his desperate attempts to dodge the relentless assault of rival vehicles. Back at the Terminus, the boy genius finds himself under the thumb of an enigmatic doctor, whose intentions may veer off the expected course. "Terminus" is a story of survival, technology, and the untamed human spirit, set against the harsh backdrop of a futuristic wasteland.
