Tarzan's Three Challenges (1963)

In the mystical realm of the Far East, Tarzan is beckoned by the dying spiritual leader of a secluded kingdom. His mission: to escort Kashi, the youthful heir apparent, through a land rife with danger and deceit to his rightful place on the throne. However, the shadows of treachery loom large. Khan, the leader's malevolent brother, covets the crown for his own son and will stop at nothing to thwart Kashi's ascension. Tarzan first has to navigate the labyrinth of suspicion harbored by the monks who have been Kashi's guardians and educators. He must prove his identity, and once that hurdle is surmounted, his real challenges begin. Tarzan and Kashi find themselves ambushed by Khan's minions, their path to the capital fraught with peril. Yet, Tarzan's resilience shines through, matching wits and strength against Khan's cunning plots. Upon reaching the capital, Tarzan is faced with a final, deadly trial invoked by Khan. The right of the fourth test, a gladiatorial duel to the death, fought on a precarious wide-mesh net stretched over cauldrons of bubbling oil. Tarzan, as Kashi's champion, must defy the odds and ensure Kashi's rightful reign. In the midst of this epic struggle for power, the grandeur of the kingdom unfolds. Processions of jeweled elephants march through the city streets, and a thousand girls perform the mesmerizing "dance of the candles." Laughter punctuates this dramatic tale with the introduction of Hungry, a baby elephant, who entertainingly fills the role of Tarzan's humorous companion, previously held by Cheetah.
