In the quiet, scholarly corridors of a university, life takes a chilling turn when Emma Duncan, the girlfriend of privileged student Adam Bowen, is found lifeless by her roommate, Molly White. This sudden tragedy sends tremors through the campus, leaving behind a mysterious suicide note as the only clue to the grim puzzle. As Molly, an ambitious 21-year-old psychology student, tries to wrestle with the harsh reality of her friend's death, her nights become plagued with haunting visions of Emma's last moments. Doubt begins to creep into Molly's mind, and the suicide note, initially perceived as a final testament to Emma's despair, starts to seem like a piece in a darker, more complex tapestry.
