Plot

In the affluent world of wealth and deception, Marco, a skilled contractor, and Jade, the heiress attorney, return exhilarated from their honeymoon, only to be greeted by an unexpected twist. Samantha, the nurse they had thoughtfully selected to care for Jade’s embittered, car-crash crippled father, Wayne, has intertwined her life with his in a sudden whirlwind romance. Wayne, a wealthy tycoon who had previously employed Marco to restore his magnificent estate, is now wed to Samantha, much to Jade's dismay. Once a caregiver, Samantha now holds the reins of Wayne's grand estate, having convinced the grumpy widower to rewrite his will, leaving her as the sole beneficiary. Jade, disillusioned and discredited, is cast aside like a disregarded pawn, her accusations of Samantha's gold-digging intentions falling on deaf ears. She finds solace only in Luke, a local police detective, who despite his initial empathy, finds no substantial evidence against Samantha. The plot thickens when Samantha meets an untimely end, leaving Jade as the prime suspect in the eyes of the law. As Jade tries to clear her name, another murder follows, revealing a web of greed and treachery. Jade finds herself in a relentless race against time, trying to expose the truth behind the walls of her father's estate and bring justice to her father. As she navigates this labyrinth of deceit, she fights not only to protect her legacy but also to honor her father's memory. In this world where trust is as elusive as the truth, Jade is determined to unmask the real stranger in the house.
