Plot

In the sun-drenched paradisiacal landscape of Santa Barbara, twin brothers Ruben and Robby become the unlikely heirs of Mona, an astoundingly rich and delightfully peculiar woman. Ruben's loyalty lies with Mona, while Robby's allegiance bends towards her bountiful fortune. As Mona's wealth and sprawling estate fall into Ruben's lap, the stage is set for a fraternal feud teetering on the edge of insanity, peppered with chaos, and even fraught with the threat of murder. In Ruben's corner is Lou Perilli, a rough-around-the-edges ex-Chicago cop turned used car dealer, a man who knows the ins and outs of the law and isn't afraid to navigate its loopholes. On the other side, Robby is backed by Reed Tyler, a cutthroat businessman with eagle eyes set on Mona's property, ready to pounce at the chance for a quick and lucrative turnover. Caught in this tug-of-war is Eddie Agopian, the family's slick lawyer who remains unflinchingly neutral, his only loyalty to the side that promises victory. As the brothers grapple for control, they unwittingly become embroiled in a hilarious game of theft, be it grand or petty, exposing the absurd lengths to which greed, power, and a twisted sense of brotherly love can lead.
