Stars Over Texas (1946)

Under the vast, star-kissed skies of Texas, rancher Hank Lawrence and his trusty foreman, Bert Ford, gallop into town and are greeted not with a friendly tip of the hat but a hail of bullets from the shadows. The culprits are the notorious outlaws known as "Knuckles", "Bugsy", and "Two-Horn", suspected rustlers prowling the Texas plains. Simultaneously, the charismatic Eddie Dean, along with "Soapy" Jones, the sharp-shooting Waco, and their singing cowhands, are busy rounding up a herd of cattle to deliver to the Lawrence ranch. Here, they encounter Hank's spirited sister, Terry, who informs them about her brother's plight in town. In an intriguing twist of fate, a striking resemblance is observed between Waco and Bert Ford in a bustling town restaurant, sparking an audacious plan.
