Famed movie star Olivia 'Liv' O'Hara, celebrated for her role in a successful superhero franchise, finds herself facing a bittersweet Christmas. With the third installment of the franchise set to release on Christmas Day, Liv longs for a return to her roots in the classics and the more challenging dramatic roles that were her training ground. However, her deepest concern this holiday season is escaping the relentless hounding of reporters and paparazzi, eager to highlight her painful split from her rockstar ex-fiancé, Ryan Wrangler, who callously ended their relationship via text. Seeking refuge from her public turmoil, Liv makes an unexpected decision to return home to the quaint town of Happy Valley, Colorado, to spend Christmas with her family.
