Splatter Beach (2007)

Beneath the frothy waves off Sea Bright Beach, an ancient terror stirs. It lurks silently, breathing both air and water, walking erect on land. Its cravings have evolved, no longer appeased by seafood. It hungers, ominously, for something more... human. Enter Tonya, Rodney, and Rupert, out-of-towners who, along with a throng of youthful revelers, descend upon the beach for a weekend-long music spree. But their joyous reverie is punctuated by gruesome deaths. The townsfolk meet their end in the jaws of these humanoid horrors rising from the depths, their screams carried away by the sea breeze, unnoticed by the partying crowd. Tess, a local girl seen as an eccentric, tries in vain to warn them of the monstrous presence stalking the beach, its appetite for human meat insatiable. Her frantic warnings of hundreds of eggs, buried in the sands, ready to burst open at any moment, fall on deaf ears. Unheeded and dismissed, Tess watches helplessly as the beach party continues, oblivious to the creeping terror that has claimed Sea Bright Beach as its hunting ground. As the music blares on, the countdown to a horrific awakening ticks away, buried beneath their dancing feet.
