In the throes of the millennial job crisis, Jane (Lissa Lauria) finds herself abruptly let go from her job by her boss Sheila (Krista Allen). Struggling to secure stable employment, Jane, along with her confidante and best friend Lily (Elyse Levesque), concocts a cunning plan - to masquerade as homeless and manipulate the sympathy of strangers for financial gain. Their scheme, a blend of audacity and creativity, finds success in unexpected corners of the city.
