In the unassuming rhythm of Liliane's (Isabelle Huppert) life, marked by her monotonous work at a pâté factory by day and solitary TV viewing by night, emerges a spark of the unexpected. The arrival of Jean (Kévin Azaïs), a young and vibrant new co-worker, stirs a dormant melody in the banality of her existence. A former singer who once graced the stage of a renowned European singing contest, Liliane is now hidden behind the drab curtains of an ordinary life. As Jean and Liliane form a unique bond, he becomes increasingly convinced that he recognizes her from the faded memories of a singing contest he saw as a child. As Liliane starts to fall for the much younger Jean, a boxer with a heart full of dreams, she finds herself faced with the possibility of a life beyond the pâté factory.
