Plot

In the stark contrast of black and white, we are thrust into a heated argument between a man and woman. The film then ushers us into a series of vibrant, colored flashbacks, painting the journey of their romance, from their initial meeting to their rushed marriage and impending parenthood. Angela, a once receptionist, and Joaquín, a hot-tempered ad executive, find their lives entwining and unraveling in a toxic dance of dominance and fear. Joaquín's volatile nature escalates into abusive behavior, each incident more harrowing than the last. The intimate confidante to Angela's plight is none other than the wife of Joaquín's boss, causing their personal tribulations to bleed into his professional sphere. Despite the spiraling circumstances, Joaquín remains obstinately resistant to seeking help. As the threats mount, the legal system offers little solace, leaving Angela caught in a dangerous web of uncertainty. The audience is left questioning, will their story end in tragedy? And from where do these haunting flashbacks spring?
