In the remote expanse of the Canadian wilderness, people vanish without a trace every year. Yet, this year carries a chilling difference. A nameless terror is driving up the death toll, and Jim (John Schneider) and his scientific team are about to walk right into the heart of it. Their annual mission to study the elusive Canadian Lynx takes a sinister turn when they realize that not just the Lynx, but most of the wildlife has mysteriously vanished. Among the team is Jim's defiant daughter, Emmy (Danielle C. Ryan), who joins the desperate quest to unravel this enigma. As they delve deeper into the wilderness, they become the hunted.
