Slime City Massacre (2010)

Following a devastating "dirty bomb" attack, the once bustling neighborhood of New York City has been abandoned and rechristened as "Slime City". The only residents now are the homeless, the forgotten refugees of this urban wasteland. Amidst the rubble of the Zachary Devon Soup Kitchen, four hardy squatters - Jennifer Bihl, Kealan Patrick Burke, Debbie Rochon, and Lee Perkins - stumble upon a hidden cache of Zachary Devon's Home Brewed Elixir and Himalayan Yogurt. But this is no ordinary meal. Consuming the elixir and yogurt triggers a grotesque transformation, turning them into horrific slime creatures, hell-bent on murder. This is but a transition phase, as they become vessels for the spirits of the malevolent Zachary Devon (Robert Sabin) and his Coven of Flesh, who chose death over life years ago. Meanwhile, a avaricious developer, Roy Frumkes, eyes the desolate Slime City with a vision of rebuilding it. To achieve his dream, he commissions a team of ruthless mercenaries - Nelron Hubbard, Tommy Sweeney, T.J. Merrick, Eric Mache, and Nicholas John Morgan Anderson - to eradicate the homeless populace. What ensues is an epic clash between the mutated Slime Heads, the merciless mercenaries, and voracious mutant cannibals. 'Slime City Massacre' is an unapologetic nod to the gloriously excessive splatter films of the 1980s, featuring performances by Brooke Lewis, Mary Bogle, and Lloyd Kaufman. It's a wild, gory ride through the post-apocalyptic urban jungle.
