Plot

In the bustling city of Soria, Fito is on the brink of a life-altering opportunity. He is inches away from an Erasmus scholarship, his ticket to improving his English in England, but finds himself waiting in a seemingly endless line of applicants. While the final examination looms, his father, proprietor of an eccentric rotisserie truck remodelled to resemble a roasted chicken, tasks him with retrieving the refurbished vehicle. Simultaneously, we meet Toño, a scrappy underdog who has navigated the challenging terrain of journalism to secure a spot on the music magazine, Chill Out. They're hiring one reporter, a position of stability that Toño craves. However, the competition is fierce, particularly from Oliver, a privileged womanizer and son of the magazine's owner, who is desperate to break free from his parents' financial leash. To outshine Oliver and secure the job, Toño needs a breakthrough—a photo and interview of significance. As fate would have it, he and Fito are drawn to the Cactus Festival, a celebrated music event featuring the elusive rockstar, Slam. Known for his staunch refusal to grant interviews, an exclusive with Slam could catapult Toño's career and guarantee him the coveted position. But a daunting obstacle remains: they are flat broke, unable to even afford the train ticket to the festival. Their only hope? The rolling roasted chicken. As Fito and Toño set out on their ambitious quest, the film invites viewers to buckle up for an exhilarating ride filled with dreams, friendship, and the power of persistence.
