In the bustling heart of New York, public relations colleagues Holly Parker and Jan Lambert find themselves embroiled in a fierce competition for a promotion at their agency. Unbeknownst to Holly, the unscrupulous Jan plots a scheme that sends her unsuspecting rival to Chicago, leaving the field open for her to seduce Holly's boyfriend, David Kray. David, caught up in the grand opening of his chic restaurant, succumbs to Jan's charms for a single passionate night. Upon Holly's return, she stumbles upon the bitter reality of David's betrayal and Jan's deception. Determined to start afresh, Holly decides to relocate to a different apartment. The friendship spirals into a chilling labyrinth of obsession and delusion, leaving Holly to navigate the treacherous waters of this unexpected nightmare.
