Plot

Crackling with tension, Sinai Commandos (1968) plunges viewers into the heart of the 1967 Six-Day War, a period of high-stakes conflict between Israel and her neighboring Arab nations. As the first shots fire, a fearless group of eight Israeli commandos, commanded by the steely Cpt. Uri Littman, are dispatched on a near-suicide mission. Their objective? To dismantle an Egyptian radar station nestled deep within the treacherous Sinai desert. This critical preemptive strike is designed to blind the Arab forces, enabling Israeli jet fighters to swoop down on unsuspecting enemy airfields with lethal precision. However, reaching their target is no simple task. The commandos must navigate the perilous desert terrain, their only lifeline a yacht helmed by its indomitable female owner. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues as the commandos undertake their dangerous desert trek. Every step brings them closer to their objective, but also deeper into the jaws of danger. Sinai Commandos is a gripping tale of courage and survival, a vivid snapshot of a time when the very fate of nations hung in the balance. The desert sun blazes, the sand shifts beneath their feet, and every moment brings them closer to their deadly destiny.
