In the heart of a sprawling hospital, a vibrant camaraderie is born on the fourth floor children’s oncology department. Amidst the sterile walls and grim diagnosis, three teenagers, Nick (14), Iwan (15), and Olivier (16), defy their life-threatening illnesses with the audacious spirit of any healthy 15-year-old. Nick and Iwan, each having lost a leg due to bone cancer, along with Olivier, who faces the prospect of amputation, form an unlikely brotherhood. They find solace in their shared humor and irrepressible zest for life, dubbing themselves the "Sickos." This trio's audacious escapades and corridor joyrides in their wheelchairs lend an unexpected vibrancy to the hospital's somber atmosphere. Amidst their laughter and jests about their illness, another comrade, Pepijn (15), quietly battles his health from within his room, his strength waning yet spirit unwavering.
