Plot

In the merciless landscape of the American west, the formidable outlaw, Dan Hogan, and his merciless gang of marauders seize $100,000 in gold bullion from a fortified bank, their sights set firmly on escaping the country's confines. Their arduous journey leads them to the rugged terrain of Jackal's Ranch, a secluded weigh station for weary stagecoaches and desperate men. Amid the dust and desperation, they encounter the enigmatic John Webb, a man as cryptic as the desert itself. Webb, promising safe passage to Mexico, demands a steep price for his guidance: half of Hogan's ill-gotten gold. Hogan, despite his initial reluctance, finds himself cornered and consents to the deal, igniting a perilous race across the unforgiving desert. With the relentless U.S. Rangers breathing down their necks and the scorching sun as their constant adversary, the stage is set for a high-stakes game of survival and deception. As the arid winds of distrust and avarice start to whirl among the bandits, an explosive concoction of tension and suspense is brewed. The question that gnaws at them is as relentless as the desert sun: Is Webb truly who he claims to be? Or does his inscrutable gaze hide a motive far more sinister than mere gold lust? The elusive answers lie somewhere in the parched desert, under the relentless sun, where men shoot the living and pray for the dead.
