Shool (1999)

In the tangled webs of power and corruption that pervade the small town of Motihari in Bihar, India, emerges an unwavering bastion of integrity - Police Inspector Samar Pratap Singh (Manoj Bajpai). Transplanted to this den of vice along with his supportive wife, Manjari (Raveena Tandon), and their young daughter, Sonu, Samar is a beacon of honesty in an ocean of deceit. As Samar's path intertwines with Yadav's, the two find themselves in an escalating conflict, with Yadav determined to eradicate the honest cop and his family from Motihari using any means necessary. Samar, however, remains unyielding, despite fearing for his family's safety.
