Plot

In the heart of a stylish Starliner apartment complex nestled on an island near Montréal, a brilliant yet unhinged scientist quests to redefine human nature. Obsessed with the idea that humanity is plagued by excessive thought, he designs a genetically engineered parasite intended to heighten aggression and carnal desire, aiming to unshackle mankind from its cognitive constraints. His experimental playground is the elegant confines of his own home where he ruthlessly tests the parasite on his mistress, leading to a chilling murder-suicide. The victims' bodies are ravaged, their internal organs dissolved by acid, leaving only a chaotic jigsaw of horror for the unsuspecting authorities. As a doctor delves into the investigation, he stumbles upon the scientist's grotesque experiments. This revelation uncovers a ticking time bomb as the genetically modified parasites start to show signs of life within the residents of the Starliner complex. With the parasite's infectious spread accelerated by hedonistic debauchery, the complex spirals into a vortex of chaos and fear. The once-idyllic haven is transformed into a petri dish of uncontrolled violence and sexual frenzy, as the residents mutate into crazed, lust-driven beings. The Starliner compound grapples with an escalating attrition problem as the parasite takes hold, spiralling towards an ominous climax. The tranquility of their island sanctuary is shattered, replaced with a chillingly silent question: What happens when the very fabric of human nature is tampered with?
