In the sprawling landscapes of Australia, a young man named Chandu finds his home under the care of his paternal uncle, Krishna Rao. His life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon Mahalakshmi, the spirited manager of the bustling 'Andhra Mirchi' restaurant. A spark ignites between the two, their hearts entwined by a passionate love that promises a shared future. However, their dreams of matrimony are abruptly shattered when Mahalakshmi is taken against her will to India. Her aunt, with match-making aspirations, plans to marry her off to her son, the unassuming Prem Kumar.
