Plot

In the gritty corners of an inner-city middle school, Eddie, a newcomer to the teaching profession, finds himself in the thick of pubescent chaos. His students, on the cusp of adolescence, are left groping in the dark with no form of sexual education to guide them. Eddie, a well-intentioned but romantically inexperienced man, is hardly an expert in matters of love and biology. However, he's determined to bridge the knowledge gap. Despite his own romantic inexperience, and the growing affection he harbors for the older sister of one of his students, Eddie courageously forays into the labyrinth of sexual education. He navigates the turbulent waters of menstrual cycles and sexually transmitted infections, aiming to illuminate these complex topics for his young pupils. His audacious deviation from the standard lesson plan, however, doesn't go unnoticed. His attempts to enlighten his students incite the ire of the local reverend, setting the stage for a conflict that forces Eddie to defend not only his teaching methods but also his own understanding of love and relationships. In the whirlwind of adolescence, romance, and controversy, "Sex Ed" is a testament to the intricate dance between education and growing up.
